Traveling is an inspiration, but also a great way to document memories. This drawing was made during my trip in Slovenia. 

The famous cream cake is all over Slovenia, but Bled (a tiny touristic town with a lovely lake which hosts the only island in Slovenia) is definitely claiming it as its own. This national pastry really is delicious and its simplicity may just be the reason why: it is composed of a thick layer of vanilla pudding topped by an evenly thick layer of fluffy whipped cream, all sandwiched in a very thin crust of flaky pastry. Powdered sugared on top for presentation. It’s light as a cloud: once started, no one can stop eating it until it’s history.
