Slovenian bees are queens. There are about 4500 bee hives just in the city of Ljubljana, it’s hard to miss them when taking a stroll anywhere, and the didactic bee houses are simply fantastic creations. The Slovene have made honey for so long, they are masters at it, turning it into pretty much anything possible, but the very best in my book is the honey liqueur, a salvation for colds. After all, Med is Slovenian for Honey. It’s no surprise it cures many ailments. 

Traveling is an inspiration, but also a great way to document memories. This drawing was made during my trip in Slovenia.
